Junk Removal
Be it a house, office, school, hospital or any place or building that you can think of, junk, garbage and rubbish are generated everywhere and everyone wants to get rid of it too. Since not all people like dealing with their garbage and neither do they have the time to go all the way to a dumping ground and dump their waste there, junk removal companies and their employees to this work for them. If you are planning to open up and set a small profitable business, a junk removal company should definitely be on the top of your option list. Since the business is small with not much investment and the work does not really require any special skills, it is fairly easy to establish the business around the area by providing good service and a few recommendations from some happy clients.
When starting a junk removal business, first assess the area where you are to start your business. Conduct a small but extensive survey of the complete area or the locality in which you are planning to work. See what kind of junk or waste is produced most there. What type of garbage is to be removed most often and from which neighborhood exactly you will be getting most of the rubbish from. Be sure to categorize all the items. You might want to split up the items into food and kitchen, paper products, plastic, old furniture, glass, recyclable, construction, medical and hazardous categories. These are only a few to help you start, you can do some more classification further.
Like all businesses need a license or permit or other form, check with the rules and regulations of your state or city, if all of the prerequisites for you to meet before they can start working officially. Some states have the rule that a company junk removal must pass and receive an OSHA training certificate. This is a certificate that shows you how to handle hazardous materials and objects and says that you are fully aware of how to handle these products. You can also contact the public health office in your area or local people waste disposal for help and information on other licenses or certificates you might need to start with your company junk removal .
You cannot work effectively without the proper tools and equipment. You will need to purchase equipment for waste disposal as a flatbed truck, shovel, a pile of plastic bags, trash cans, rakes, and lots of safety equipment such as safety glasses, the rubber boots and work rubber gloves to employees and possibly also the combinations that can be used at work. Finally, remember to market your company as well. The more effectively you advertise, the more people will know about your services and more likely there will be for your work to develop. Be sure to cover every building in the area that no junk free.
